摘要
The details of the winners of the annual Ashden awards for renewable energy projects in developing countries, are discussed. The awards are designed both to celebrate existing achievements, and to provide funding for expansion, replication, or dissemination. The awards are meant to encourage wider take-up of local energy solutions and to solve the problem associated with poverty, resource shortages, and climate change. The award was constituted to reduce the local environmental impacts and tackling climate change while providing children an education, and improving their health and wellbeing.
