Stora Enso signed Metso Paper to upgrade the softwood magnefite sulfite pulp line at its Nymolla mill in southern Sweden. The Finnish supplier is expected to provide new brown stock process equipment, including three wash presses and rebuild the brown stock screening system. Stora Enso plans to modernize the line, which dates from the 1970s.
