摘要
The optimum processing conditions and parameters determined by computer aided engineering tools was investigated. The software calculates the billet length to reduce scrap and uses the optimum process conditions to determine the productivity and cost estimates for multiple presses. The software was also found to remove the guesswork out of cost estimation and to reduce the time spent on preparing cost estimates.
