An account of the aggressive 55 percent paper recovery goal announced by the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) is presented. The announcement is a part of AF&PA's challenge to recycle more high-quality paper. Increasing paper recovery is critical to the future of the paper industries fiber supply, paper manufacturing and environmental protection.
