摘要
Biomorphic porous ZnO was synthesized by using bio-template method with cornhusk as template. The treated cornhusk was soaked in zinc acetate precursor solution for 24 h and dried, then the soaked cornhusk was calcined at 800℃ for 3 h to obtain biomorphic ZnO. Different characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM and TEM were used to investigate the structure of as-prepared samples. The adsorption properties of as-synthesized ZnO for lead ions were also studied. Through an in-situ route, biomorphic porous ZnO with a class roll of leaf structure was synthesized by self-assembly of well-crystallized ZnO grain on cornhusk. Moreover, the as-synthesized biomorphic ZnO exhibited good adsorption property for lead ions, the adsorption capacity of biomorphic ZnO was 49.9 mg/g. The adsorption process can achieve equilibrium in 120 min and the adsorption process can be described with pseudo-second-order model. The adsorption isotherm model accords with the Langmuir isothermal model, the increase of temperature can also improve the adsorption performance of biomorphic ZnO. © 2017, Materials Review Magazine.
