Outsourcing of aftermarket services is a natural extension of the current manufacturing model. Electronics aftermarket services focus on the end of the product life cycle. These services manage product life cycles from new product introduction (NPI) to end-of-life (EOL). It is expected that the OEM and service providers will continue to collaborate to create optimized service supply chains that lower the total cost of service and enhance total customer experience.
