The new ST50 flowmeter from Fluid Components International (FCI) provides value to redifine the flow measurement of air, compressed air and nitrogen gas in line sizes from 51 to 305mm. The new ST50 has no moving parts and meets the challenges when compared with orifice plates, differential pressure, vortex shedding, and other thermal instruments. ST50 is useful in municipal and industrial wastewater aceration control systems, input/output air flow controls, HVAC duct/damper control, and aceration flow control in lakes, ponds or aquaculture. The sensing elements of ST50 is made up of stainless steel with Hast-C tips and its electronics are made up of aluminum, epoxy-coated enclosure that is IP66 rated.
