摘要
On overview is given of the fundamental ideas in reducing flammability of polymers and agents. A study on the chemical aspect of combustion and its prevention is discussed. It is shown that the structural characteristics of an object, the degree of fineness of the particles of the flame retardant and the state of surface structure have an important contribution in determining the flammability and ignitability of materials.
