摘要
A new structural control system using shear-walls with a pin connection at the bottom is proposed for vibration control of high-rise RC buildings. A laminated rubber is adopted at the bottom of the shear-wall as a rotary bearing. However it is not connected to the base concrete to reduce the tensile deformation of the rubber. In this study, two kinds of loading tests and FEM analysis are conducted to clarify the behavior of the unconnected laminated rubber. It is shown that the laminated rubber has a high durability against the rotary deformation in spite of the existence of axial load, and the tensile deformation of the rubber is effectively decreased due to the bending deformation of the flange. A slight change of horizontal and vertical stiffnesses was observed after the tests.
