Weyerhaeuser plans shutdown of fourth containerboard machine. The company is expected to continue running hydrogenerators at the mill and a dam that provided power for the local power grid. Producers shut higher-cost capacity as part of an effort to more efficiently match supply with demand and avoid oversupply.
