摘要
In order to enhance the power performance and fuel economy of electric vehicles by motor structural design, the relationship between the steady-state characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motor and its structural parameters is theoretically investigated, and a parametric analysis is conducted with software OPPeD ePMSM. The initial design and optimization schemes of the main structural parameters of motor are put forward, and the optimization design of traction motor for an electric vehicle is performed to improve the efficiency characteristics of its motor. The results of simulation on vehicle fuel economy show that with the parameter optimization method for motor structure proposed the average efficiency of electric drive system with 5 common driving cycles increases by 6.4%, and its average energy consumption drops by 7.2%, while ensuring the power performance of vehicle maintained. © 2018, Society of Automotive Engineers of China.
