摘要
Objective: Lactobacillus plantarum Strain FMNP01 was a strain with antimicrobial properties isolated from fresh Mangifera indica L. In order to further study the antimicrobial mechanism of Lactobacillus plantarum FMNP01, it is necessary to sequence the strain and decipher its genome. Methods: The genome of Lactobacillus plantarum FMNP01 was sequenced using high-throughput sequencing technology, and then analyzed for genome assembly, gene prediction and functional annotation by bioinformatics methods, and the gene cluster related to the bacteriocin was further studied. Results: The whole genome was assembled into 18 Contigs, and the genome size is 3 313 644 bp with GC content of 44.48%. This Whole Genome Shotgun project has been deposited at Gen Bank under the accession JPSU00000000. And a gene cluster related to bacteriocin was found in the genome. Conclusion: The result gives us a basis to further elucidate the antimicrobial mechanism and the functional genomics. © 2018, Editorial Office of Journal of CIFST. All right reserved.
