摘要
Research progress in the catalytic combustion of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) on cobalt oxide-based catalysts was summarized briefly in recent years.Three strategies were introduced in detail to improve the activity, stability, and the selectivity of products with environmental acceptable over cobalt oxide-based catalysts, including loading on the supports with acidic properties, loading high Deacon reaction active components, synthesizing cobalt oxide-based mixed oxides for the catalytic combustion of CVOCs.From the perspective of catalyst design, the construction of cobalt oxide-based catalysts with excellent low-temperature redox properties and suitable acid properties is the focus of ongoing research. From the perspective of catalytic technology, coupling a variety of reaction scenarios using multi-field synergy strategy can be selected to improve the low temperature activity, stability and versatility of cobalt oxide-based catalysts. © 2022 Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
