Chemical product safety: Safety reports and standards

The article presents information about the use of chemical products with reference to the various EU reports and standards directly concerned with the subject. The basic information required when working with chemicals concerns the degree of danger of the product, the precautions to take when using it, and the measures to take in case of an accident. Such information must be available on the label of a dangerous product. The Safety Report includes 16 points of relevance to product safety and must be made available to users along with the substance. The various points of the Safety Report are analysed.
