摘要
A conceptual design to extend the traditional role of facilities management is presented. The advantages of managing facilities that are distributed over the Internet are also detailed. Furthermore, a framework to extend the current building control functions using fully distributed architectures that can lead to true interoperable devices and benefits from such an implementation is given.
