摘要：
The purpose of this article is to present the integrated EFORWOOD project (www.eforwood.com) undertaken under the European Commission's 6th Framework Programme for Research (6th RDFP). The aim of the project is to assess the sustainability of timber production and processing systems so as to enhance the evaluation tools applied to the European forestry and forest-based industries.
