摘要
Low energy nuclear physics is the source of innovation and basic support for nuclear energy development and application of nuclear technology, and plays a pivotal role in the construction of the national economy. The basic research team of nuclear physics in China Institute of Atomic Energy, relying on Beijing HI-13 tandem accelerator and other nuclear science devices, has achieved outstanding results in the research of key scientific issues for low energy nuclear physics. The innovation achievements were made in the indirect measurement of key astrophysical nuclear reactions, the 12C(α,γ)16O astrophysical holy grail reaction, the optical potential of exotic nuclei and the effect of neck parameters on nuclear fission, etc. The progress in the basic research of low energy nuclear physics was reviewed, and the future researches were also prospected. © 2020, Editorial Board of Atomic Energy Science and Technology.
