Discipline literature retrieval based on latent semantic analysis

摘要
This paper proposes a new method for discipline literature retrieval. First, it conducts keyword analysis and co-word analysis to construct professional discipline term vocabulary. Then, based on Latent Semantic Analysis model, it retrieves related discipline literature at word level in well-established vocabulary from related journals. We conduct an empirical analysis over the Scientometrics discipline with 77 related journals from Web of Science (WOS). ©, 2014, Wuhan University. All right reserved.
