3D printing is a new technology. The application of 3D printing to the animation industry has great commercial value and potential. In the process of animation and costume design can use 3D printing technology; the application of the technology in the 3D industry will bring great economic benefits to the industry, but also the development of the animation industry, an important technology driver. This article will explore and analyze the specific application of 3D printing technology in the innovative design of animation clothing, and provide reference materials for the development of animation industry. © 2018, STS Science Centre Ltd.
