About classification of solid combustible minerals used in the form of water-coal suspensions

摘要
The existing current classification of coals according to genetic and technological parameters determines the main trends in utilization of the coals of various grades. However, coals classified as power-generating ones cover almost all coals. But requirements to qualities of solid combustible minerals are different. This should be taken into account. Important trend in application of solid combustible minerals is their utilization as water-coal suspensions. Criteria of classification of the coals have been offered. Yield of volatile substances, specific amount of organic substances, specific content of carbon, index of combustion heat, and other factors are taken into account during classification.
