Preparation and microwave absorption property of nanophase barium ferrite by citrate method

摘要
Ba-ferrite material was prepared by using citrate Sol-Gel method. The phases, size and shape of ferrite materials are different in various heat treatments. Ferrites including BaFe12O19, γ-Fe2O3, BaFe2O4 and α-Fe2O3 were produced when heated to 650°C. But when temperature was higher than 800°C, the main phase was only hexagonal Ba-ferrite crystal BaFe12O19 with a diameter of 50-60 nm and microwave absorption property.
