Core competence of the REFA Association. The increasing degree of globalization and the accompanying shortening of product life cycles and more demanding customer-stated requirements calls for greater flexibility on the part of every business. This article sets out to explain the REFA Association's new, process-oriented approaches to work organization against the background of these framework conditions.
