摘要
Water-soluble tetrakis-(4-sulfonatophenyl)-porphyrin (TPPS) can self assemble into supramolecular aggregates under certain condition. Supramolecular structure-loaded membrane can be obtained by combination of supramolecular aggregates and membranes. In this paper, poly(4-vinylpyridine)-grafted ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVAL-P4VP) membrane was prepared by UV grafting polymerization of 4VP onto EVAL membrane. The adsorption behavior and self-aggregation of TPPS on membrane were discussed. The effect of pH, ionic strength and grafting degree on the adsorption behavior and self-aggregation of TPPS was studied. The results show that self-aggregation of TPPS and increased ionic strength lead to a decreased adsorption capacity of TPPS on membranes. The adsorption process of TPPS on membrane can be described by Langumir isotherm model. Decreasing pH, increasing adsorption capacity and grafting degree were in favor of J-aggregation of TPPS on the membrane surface. © 2017, Editorial Board of Polymer Materials Science & Engineering.
