摘要
Biocompatibility of CNTs needs to be upgraded with the basic understanding of their interaction with biomolecules in human. In the present work, spectroscopic methods including fluorescence and UV-Visible has been used to convey the complex formation occurring between CNTs and biomolecules including BSA, Lysozyme form chicken egg white and human, laccases from Tramates versicolor in vitro. Synchronous and three dimensional spectra dictated the effect of CNTs towards the aromatic micro environment of biomolecules amino acid residues such as tryptophan and tyrosine. Alteration observed in the amide band showed possible changes towards the secondary structure of biomolecules on conjugation with MWCNTs. The decrease in the far UV-CD absorbance of the dichroic band has suggested the corresponding loss of the alpha helical secondary structures. Alteration in the near UV-CD absorbance of the biomolecules conveyed the possible effect of CNTs towards the stability of the polypeptide backbone.
