摘要：

The perceived urgency of climate change and its effect on the water sector are discussed. The Dialogue on Water and Climate suggests that taking measures to cope well with climate variability also provides proactive adaptation to future climate change. Integrated water resources management requires a combination of elements from the categories such as supply system management, demand management, resource operations, and risk management.
