摘要
A media processor called MAPCA (media accelerated processor for consumer appliances) is introduced. This processor processes media data at a speed of 30 GOPS, the highest speed demonstrated up to the present. With MAPCA, digital-media equipment developers can develop high-performance applications using only software.
