摘要
To study the damage evolution law of RC structures, a nonlinear combination of deformation and hysteretic energy based RC components damage model is proposed, in which the combination parameters are defined to consider the weight of deformation and hysteretic energy under different damage states. The proposed model can reflect the mutual effect of deformation and hysteretic energy, and also can well evaluate the damage extent of components at different damage states. A series of pseudo-static tests of 4 RC shear wall specimens is simulated, and the results indicate that the proposed damage model can quantitatively determine the damage value which is in good agreement with the experimental phenomenon of various destruction levels. The proposed model can also give a better description of the damage evolution process of the four specimens than other damage model and quantitatively determine the damage boundary of specimens at different damage levels. Furthermore, the dynamic responses of one RC shear wall specimen due to earthquakes are analyzed, and the results show that the proposed damage model can describe the damage evolution process of RC shear wall due to earthquake with different peak accelerations. The calculated damage of shear wall develops rapidly at the peak acceleration and increases with the increase of seismic intensity until the component fails when the damage exceeds the threshold. © 2017, Engineering Mechanics Press.
