A report on waterside economizers is presented in the article. Waterside economizers can be expensive to install but are sometimes the only option, especially when dealing with unitary systems, data centers or other process loads. Both waterside and dry bulb economizers provide 100% of the required cooling whenever the outdoor air conditions are below 40° wb or 55° db.
