The Carboflex atmosphere control system developed by Linde can significantly boost the cost-effectiveness of roller hearth furnaces. Carboflex provides fully automatic, continuous monitoring and control of the furnace atmosphere. Setpoints can be assigned to each product and deposited in a recipe database. This enables exact reproducibility of the batches. In combination with the in-sit.u Carbocat endogas generator, considerable energy savings can additionally be realised.
