Canadian printing and writing papers' producer Domtar Inc. has recently been accused by ForestEthics as as old growth forest offender. But Domtar was applauded by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) in April for becoming the first major North American manufacturer committed to producing FSC certified paper. The main reason could be the business interests of ForestEthics in the U.S. South timerlands.
