摘要
Electret fibrous membranes are the core filtration layer for air filtration products such as masks, air purifiers and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) filters. Electret fibrous filters capture aerosol by electrostatic force between fiber and aerosol, and exhibit excellent filtration properties with high filtration efficiency and low pressure drop. In this study, the electrostatic mechanism and charge characterization methods of electret fibrous membranes were introduced. The influence of raw materials, electret technology and storage environment on charge stability was analyzed. The research progress on improving charging capacity and charge stability of electret filters by composite membrane structure and adding electret nanoparticles was reviewed. Finally, the problems and future development of electret fibrous membranes were proposed. © 2023 Chengdu University of Science and Technology. All rights reserved.
