摘要
Corrosion potential, corrosion current and electrochemical AC impedance spectroscopy were adopted to study the effect on the electrochemical behavior of cathodic protection to reinforcing steel in simulated concrete pore solution subjected to diffe-rent degree of corrosion. Test results show that the four-hour decays of reinforcing steel potential of each specimen are higher than 100 mV and the corrosion current is decreased. Cathodic protection makes the reinforcing steel from active to passive. In the same corrosion environment, the capacitive loop diameter of specimen under cathodic protection is greater than that of specimen without cathodic protection. Under the same cathodic protection condition, the higher the chloride addition of corrosive medium is, the smaller the capacitive loop diameter of reinforcing steel is. The charge transfer resistance of specimen under cathodic protection increases along with age. Cathodic protection provides effective protection to reinforcing steel in simulated concrete pore solution. © 2016, Materials Review Magazine. All right reserved.
