Technological progress of economic reform

Previous literature research of technological progress is in the habit of using TFP, which has been controversial. First, TFP is not representative of all of the technological advances. Second, the formula reflects the technical progress and is able to separate from estimates of total factor productivity. According to these reasons, this paper carried out some further attempts. First, it is attempting to break through the limitation of traditional practice by using the improved RBC model to measure two types of technological progress.Second, according to the results of mathematical analysis, using data of China’s reform period of empirical research, to distinguish different types of technological progress. © 2016 Taru Publications.
