摘要
Aiming at engineering applications of surface texture in rotor-bearing system, CFD simulation method is used to investigate the dynamic and static characteristics of a circumferential groove journal bearing whose model is established by APDL. The simulation results are compared with the experimental data to verify the correctness of CFD simulation method. The effects of texture parameters including the depth-clearance ratio, the depth-to-length ratio and the width-to-length ratio on the static and dynamic characteristics of the bearing are investigated. Numerical results show that surface texture reduces the loading capacity of the bearing, but at the same time reduces the temperature rise. Compared with the non-texture system, the logarithmic decrement may increase up to 45.5%. Therefore, the surface texture with reasonable parameters on the lubrication surface can effectively improve the stability of the rotor-bearing system. © 2018, Editorial Department of Journal of Southwest Jiaotong University.
