摘要
A lightning location system realizes time synchronization based on satellite timing technology. In order to analyze the in-fluences of time synchronization attacks on the lightning location system, by analyzing the existing time synchronization security protection measures in the power industry, firstly, we constructed a lightning location model in which the malicious time synchronization attacks were taken into consideration. Secondly, we introduced the Taylor algorithm for location solution. Finally, based on the Monte Carlo simulation method, the inversion experiment of positioning error was performed based on the Foshan Thunderbolt positioning system. The research results show that the accuracy of lightning location is positively correlated with the time offset of the detection station under time synchronization attacks; when the time of the central station deviates by 0.2 μs, the positioning error of the detection network boundary point is 3.16 times higher than the normal error, which verifies the effect of time synchronization attacks on the lightning location system. © 2020, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI.
