摘要：
The natural gas industry is characterized by high risk, high input, complicated technology, and strict safety and environment protection requirements, so its standards and norms shall meet stricter requirements. Promoting the international standardization of natural gas in China is of great significance to realize the internationalization of Chinese technologies and maintain the fairness and justice in the international natural gas trade. In order to promote the coordinated development of domestic and international standardization of natural gas, domestic and foreign natural gas standardization technical institutions, and the development process of international standardization of natural gas were analyzed. China's international standard of natural gas was studied comprehensively from the aspects of importance, advancement, and industrial promotion.
