摘要
To comprehensively study the insulating performance of c-C4F8/N2 mixture, we investigated the surface flashover properties of c-C4F8/N2 insulator. Meanwhile, we measured the surface flashover voltage of c-C4F8/N2 insulator at different pressures, mixing ratios, and voltage types, thereby, it is compared with that of N2 and SF6 insulator under the same test conditions. After the experiments being performed, the gas compositions were detected. Results show that, in frequency AC voltage and lightning impulse voltage, the insulator surface flashover voltage increases as the gas pressure/c-C4F8 mixing ratio increases; in 0.10 MPa, the insulating surface flashover performance of 30% c-C4F8/N2 mixed gas equals to 73% of SF6 in 0.10 MPa; in 0.30 MPa, the insulating surface flashover performance of 30% c-C4F8/N2 mixed gas equals to 1.4 times of SF6 in 0.10 MPa. From the insulator surface flashover properties, c-C4F8/N2 gas mixture may be used as an alternative for SF6 gas which is used in electrical equipment. © 2019, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI.
