One can never have all the information that one would like to have. However, we can piece together a reasonably accurate historical record of our machine. Sometime early in the 1900s (about 1910) our machine was built at the Lombard Steam Log Hauler Co. in Waterville, Maine. These machines were priced at $5,500 and represented a major investment for logging contractors.
