摘要
A new wind energy and wave energy combined system based on a tension-leg platform (TLP) was proposed, and the hydrodynamic responses of the combined system under typical sea cases were investigated. The combined system includes two outermost pitch-type wave energy converters (WEC) and a central TLP with a DTU 10 MW wind turbine (WT). The aerodynamic performance of the WT was investigated based on the BEM method, and the hydrodynamic interaction effect and mechanical coupling effect between the WECs and TLP were taken into consideration. The coupled aerodynamic and hydrodynamic numerical model of the combined system was established. The characteristics of main dynamic responses and wind/wave energy production of the combined system under typical operational sea cases were clarified, and the safety of the combined system under extreme sea cases was verified. © 2021, Solar Energy Periodical Office Co., Ltd.
