摘要
The dual active bridge (DAB) DC-DC converter with multi-level circuits can achieve higher voltage level, higher power density and better performance. This paper proposed a DAB based on active neutral point clamped (ANPC) three-level circuit (ANPC-DAB). Through the analysis of the soft-switching characteristics of the ANPC circuit in the switching process among switch states, the conditions for enabling all 12 switching tubes to achieve zero voltage switching (ZVS) turn-on were obtained. On this basis, the influence of the zero-level switching states on loss distribution was also analyzed, and a modulation method that can effectively balance the loss distribution was proposed. Furthermore, this paper established the math model of loss for ANPC-DAB, and the loss distribution of power devices and efficiency were analyzed. Finally, the experimental verification was completed on a 1.5kW experimental prototype. The simulation and experimental results showed that the proposed modulation method effectively improved the loss distribution of power devices while all the switching tubes realized soft switching. © 2021 Chin.
