摘要
A spectrally selective surface is proposed based on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) material, which integrates photothermal and radiative cooling. Spectrum tests show that this surface has high emissivity (absorptivity) within the solar radiation band (i.e., 0.3~2.5 μm) and the atmospheric window band (i.e., 8~13 μm), with averaged emissivity values of 0.89 and 0.86, respectively. Besides, this surface has low emissivity (absorptivity) within the left and right mid-infrared band (i.e., 3~8 μm and 13~25 μm), with averaged emissivity values of 0.38 and 0.37, respectively. Overall, this surface shows obvious spectral selectivity. Furthermore, an outdoor experimental device is developed and preliminary tested to evaluate the surface's photothermal and nighttime radiative cooling performance. The results show that the surface temperature can reach 72.8℃ during the daytime, which is 69.6℃ above the surroundings, and it reaches -6.2℃ during the nighttime, which is 8.9℃ below the surroundings. © 2021, Solar Energy Periodical Office Co., Ltd.
