摘要
Firstly, a three-phase equivalent model of power system and traction power supply system was established to theoretically analyze the negative sequence power flow direction of traction load. It was concluded that the negative sequence active power of traction load was negative and opposite to the positive sequence active power direction, which acted as the negative sequence current source to inject the negative sequence active power from the traction power supply system into the power system. Secondly, there will be problems if the traditional positive sequence active power metering scheme continues to be used for power metering of asymmetric loads. In order to correctly measure the power of traction loads, this paper proposed that the equivalent apparent power and equivalent power factor theory recommended by IEEE Std 1459-2010 should be used for power metering of asymmetric traction loads. Finally, the correctness of this metering scheme was verified by the measured data of a traction substation. The results show that the equivalent apparent power and power factor definitions can take into account the effect of asymmetric loads on line transmission efficiency. © 2021, Department of Journal of the China Railway Society.
