摘要
Lactobacillus plantarum XJ25 and PC520 strains produced bactericin successfully through the induction of co-culture. Based on the sequencing draft genome, the pln loci of XJ25 and PC520 were studied and compared. The study showed that the pln loci of XJ25 and PC520 were similar and comprised six operons, i.e. plnEFI, plnJKLR, plnGHSTUV, plnABCD, plnMNOP and plnWXY. And a new orf1 was also found with unknown function. The regulatory operon of the two strains was plnABCD with three components. Moreover, plnY and plnS genes were missing in PC520 pln locus while on the protein encoded by XJ25 plnF gene, mutations of two amino acids (A-S, V-I) were detected at sites 14 and 42, respectively. © 2019, Editorial Office of Journal of CIFST.
