摘要
Polyamide 6(PA6) was prepared with caprolactam (CPL). Polyethylene glycol (PEG) and zinc oxide (ZnO) were mixed to PA6 main chains, formed PA6/PEG/ZnO composites, using 6- amino acetic acid as ring opening agent, four butyl titanate as catalyst. The chemical structures of PA6/PEG/ZnO composites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and wide angle X-ray diffraction (XRD). The mechanical properties and the rheological behavior of the composites were also researched. The results show that part crystalline grains of the composites were transformed from α phase to γ phase after ZnO added. The thermal decomposition temperature of the materials does not change too much, which is higher than the processing temperature of PA6. The rheological test confirms that the composites are shear thinning fluid, and the non-Newton index of the composites is less than 1, the ability of spinning is good. When the content of ZnO added is 10%, the fracture strength is increased by 55.7%, and the mechanical properties of the composites are greatly improved. Therefore, PA6/PEG/ZnO nanocomposites have potentially industrial application. © 2019, Editorial Board of Polymer Materials Science & Engineering. All right reserved.
