摘要
A fuzzy logic based maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control method is proposed based on fuzzy logic in this paper for extracting the maximum ocean wave energy. The use of the proposed control method can potentially avoid the problems of slow response speed and oscillations around the maximum power points in the traditional MPPT methods. The proposed MPPT control is implemented based on a linear permanent magnet synchronous generator (LPSG) for wave energy conversion. The dynamic mathematical model of the LPSG is established, while the relationship between the generator power and system damping is analyzed. The simulations for validating the proposed control method are conducted in Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results are compared with the traditional disturbance & observation method under the same operation conditions. The comparison results show that the proposed control method holds the advantages of relatively better response speed and higher robustness. © 2021, Solar Energy Periodical Office Co., Ltd.
