摘要
An efficient energy dissipation and shock absorption structural system with displacement amplification damping walls across multi-story is proposed. Based on the principle of energy equivalence, the formulas for calculating the damping force and hysteretic energy dissipation of the displacement amplifier are established by using integral method. The pseudo-static tests of ordinary viscous damping walls and high-efficiency viscous damping walls with 3 times magnification of displacement are carried out. Under the same displacement amplitude and loading frequency, the damping force of large damping wall is enlarged by 4.40 times, and the energy consumption is 4.41 times on average. Furthermore, the seismic response of a 30-story concrete frame core tube is compared with that of a large damping wall. Through comparative analysis, the damping effect of the enlarged wall is verified, and it is found that the additional damping ratio of the structure is increased and the response of the structure is further reduced. The better damping control effect can be obtained by placing a displacement amplification damping wall across multi-story. Copyright ©2021 Engineering Mechanics. All rights reserved.
