In light of the present unpredictable climate and rigorous rivalry, it is essential for manufacturing companies to boost their performance to stay afloat. In this context, it is beneficial to routinely assess and track dependable supplier risk to enhance the efficiency of these firms and their SC. Moreover, relationships that are not opportunistic and are instead built on resilience (R) and sustainability (S) play a crucial role in lessening the chances of a supplier failing to meet supply commitments, thereby augmenting the performance of the supply chain. In addition, the function of a dependable suppliers (DSs) in facilitating and building the relationship between reliable qualified relationships (BRQRs) and mitigating probable supply chain risks (MPSCRs) cannot be overlooked. This study, which involved surveying 111 manufacturing companies of varying sizes from Jordan, Bahrain, and Qatar, provides experimental proof supporting most of our assumptions. The paper delivers a theoretical test of supplier-customer relationships and supplying risk, with theorem tested through constructional equation modeling/Smart PLS-4. According to the study's findings, resilience and sustainability have a considerable positive effect on MoPSCRs, leading to improved efficacy of manufacturing firms supply chain performance. Interestingly, the study reveals that DSs favorably affect and facilitate the correlation between resilience (R) and PRSCRs, but has not a considerable impact on the tie between sustainability (S) and MPSCRs. This research provides practical proof of the benefits of employing BRQRs within MoPSCRs resources in the context of manufacturing companies, aiming to bolster their supply chain performance. Further, it provides necessary material for managers and decision-makers in MFs to confirm the importance and understanding of the quality of the relationship in building relationships and business dealings with partners in the SC, in addition to limiting and mitigating the risks of an interruption in supply in particular.
