摘要
This article investigates an epistemological approximation between Freud's theory of dreams (1900) and the structural theory of narrative (BARTHES, 1972). Considering that the dream itself is a lost experience, it becomes part of an analysis only when it can be reported; Therefore, reporting a dream makes it become subject to a new action, which can be approximated to the process of narrativization. Thus, a redescription of the Freudian dream theory was elaborated from the methodological model of the levels of signification worked by Barthes (1972) with the intention of verifying if there would be a Freudian notion of narrative proper to his theory about the processes of dream formation and transmission. With this, our goal is to contribute to the ways of understanding and operating clinically on dreams in an analytical process. At the end of this work, we hope to have presented a perspective that considers the report of a dream as a clinical text.
