摘要
This article concerns the activism of individual Catholic progressives during the 1960s and 1970s as recreated by means of oral history. This allows us to reconstruct the motivation and trajectory of grassroots Catholic activists who contributed to the rebuilding of civil society under the Franco dictatorship. The information and perspectives proferred by oral history are difficult, sometimes impossible, to recover by other investigative means due to the low profile of the activists and the clandestine nature of many of their activities. Accordingly, oral history provides us with a unique window on the Catholic activism of the 1960s and 1970s.
