摘要
Fluorenone, a compound with a fused aromatic ring structure, is widely used in scientific research and technological advancements due to its extensive aromaticity, customizable electron-accepting traits, tuneable luminescence, efficient energy, charge transfer abilities, and unique characteristics. It plays a crucial role in material, medical, and chemical domains due to its broad applicability. Fluorenone based compounds exhibit diverse capabilities such as chemo sensing, biological activities, and photovoltaic potentials, showcasing their multifaceted nature in modern research and applications. 9-fluorenone is highly prized in supramolecular chemistry for its outstanding optical, photophysical, and biological attributes, making it a valuable compound with captivating photochemical and physicochemical properties, including the presence of conjugated poly-(en) yens. This comprehensive compilation of fluorenone-based sensors from 2010 to 2024 showcases their real-world applications in sensing, biological studies, and solar cell technology. We anticipate that delving into the insights provided by these literature reports will aid researchers in the fields of chemosensing, biosensing, and solar energy, enabling the development of superior fluorenone derivatives with enhanced practical applications in the future.
